Trusses and elements

If you use trusses in your project, the position of the truss may prevent underlying components from being pushed to the position you want.

In this example, the vertical truss has been placed flush with the rest of the elements.

All the following elements that are used under the traverse now have a recess that corresponds to the thickness of the traverse.

Since this is not always desired, the use of a divider allows it to be placed below the traverse without a recess.

Position before place the truss a divider with the distance equal to the width of the truss.

Place your truss and select “Top Only” or “Bottom Only” to get a single truss.

All of the components below are now placed over the entire base of the body again.

Tip: This principle also works if an element is required in front of or behind a horizontal truss.
