We have been developing software solutions for CNC processing machines since 1997. With more than 15,000 CNC simulator licenses delivered worldwide and the new plug-and-play 3D furniture design software SmartWOP, we convince with high quality and satisfied customers. With SmartWOP, we have been offering professional users since 2016 what has now become a very popular solution for the clever, simple and quick construction of furniture.
Thanks to SmartWOP, we have grown a lot and are a tried and tested team that masters what is already a fairly large task with the best possible code and dedicated, friendly customer service.
Only professionals work for us: programmers and trained carpenters or carpenters in customer service, because we have understood that the best software without the appropriate support is absolutely useless in the daily work in the woodworking trade.
This is why we all work hand in hand and our service staff support the programmers in technical questions and in the practical development of new functions. When it comes to programming 3D design software, are you really good? Or are you a carpenter or carpenter and love dealing with people? Then simply send us your unsolicited application. Your tasks
• Development of new functions, maintenance of existing code.
• Refactoring and improving existing code to solve "bottleneck" problems.
• Write clear and understandable code (sometimes with comments).
• Use of a common code style across the team.
• Coverage of new and existing code with the unit tests (boost is preferable).
• Developing new ideas to increase application performance and stability.
• Effective interaction with other developers.
• Be able to act quickly to investigate and resolve issues in real time.
• Self-education and self-discipline are important.
your profile
• More than 5 years of practical experience in modern C++ 11/17 programming.
• In-depth knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, patterns and algorithms.
• Good knowledge of 3D geometry.
• Experience with 3D graphics (knowledge of DirectX 8/11/12 is a big plus).
• Experience with SQL databases.
• Experience with version control systems (SVN or GIT).
• Basic knowledge of GUI design.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Experience with Visual Studio.
Nice to have
• Knowledge of the CNC industry.
• Experience in web development, especially knowledge of JavaScript and Ruby on Rails.
• Development experience on Linux systems.
• Knowledge of any scripting language.

• Completed training as a carpenter with good practical experience.
• You handle inquiries from our customers via email, telephone and TeamViewer.

• Good to very good computer skills.
• Confident written and spoken German and good knowledge of English.
• Motivation to learn new things and expand your knowledge (especially about our products).
