SmartWOP "clever, simple, fast"? The magazine dds put SmartWOP to the test in cooperation with RheinKollektiv from Düsseldorf.

Three young carpenters from Düsseldorf have set up their own business together.
Your wish: work smart!

The carpenters from Düsseldorf wanted to aim high, fast. What is the best way to do this?
With the perfect work preparation.
When it comes to the mechanical equipment, the guys rely entirely on HOMAG.
A five-axis CNC »Centateq P-110« and a wide belt sander »Sandteq W-200« are purchased for the workshop to go with the »Sawteq B-130« panel saw; only the right software is missing: SmartWOP.

Because, as Markus Wey says, assembling a simple piece of furniture doesn't take a minute.

The dds magazine writes about SmartWOP:
"MPR files for WoodWop are generated via the "Everything about the machine" button and then the cutting list for the panel saw is exported. Material lists for the planned project are also available, e.g. for ordering materials from suppliers and as accompanying documents for the workshop. Of course, the kitchen cabinet planned in the example can be saved and a rapidly growing library can be created. SmartWop is a parametric system: you can turn a 60 cm wardrobe into a 90 cm wardrobe with just a few mouse clicks. The underlying logic changes accordingly. At RheinKollektiv, a label with a QR code is printed on the saw for component identification, which is read in on the CNC using a hand-held scanner. In this way, the correct program is always called up. SmartWop accesses the tool data of the CNC via the WoodWop installed on the AV computer and mirrored on the machine, so that the machining is always created on the basis of the tool data actually available." (Source dds Magazin, Oct. 2020)

That not only sounds smart to us – but also to the customer.
